Icon of the Seas Deck 15 Deck Plan
Read the Deck 15 plan from front to back. The forward end is the AquaDome. The AquaTheater stage and its curved rows of seats fill the front, with The Overlook Pods on one side and Rye & Bean on the other. Behind the theater, Hooked Seafood and Celebration Table sit on one side, and the AquaDome Market runs along the other.
Past the forward elevators, the deck opens up into Chill Island. The Royal Bay Pool and its whirlpools sit on one side of the ship and the Cove Pool on the other, with The Lime and Coconut bars, Sprinkles, Cantina Fresca, El Loco Fresh and table tennis in between.
Behind the aft elevators, the Windjammer Marketplace wraps both sides of the ship. The deck ends at The Hideaway, with its suspended pool, whirlpools and The Hideaway Bar looking out over the back of the ship.
What You’ll Find on Deck 15

Cabins Near Deck 15: What to Know Before You Book
Deck 15 has no staterooms, but it still matters when you pick a room, because it sits right on top of the cabins on Deck 14. The AquaDome sits over the front of Deck 14, Chill Island’s pools and lounge chairs are over the middle, and the Windjammer and The Hideaway are over its back end.
Guest reviews list these Deck 14 ranges as the ones to think twice about:
- Under the AquaDome: 14138 to 14162 on one side and 14538 to 14562 on the other, where music from the AquaDome can carry.
- Under the pool deck: 14164 to 14286 on one side and 14564 to 14686 on the other.
- Under The Hideaway and the Windjammer: 14288 to 14362 on one side and 14688 to 14762 on the other. Expect early-morning traffic from the buffet and noise from the pool area.
That doesn’t make every Deck 14 room a bad pick. A family that will be at the pool from breakfast to dinner might love being one deck below it. If anyone in your group sleeps light, though, we’d steer you to a room that doesn’t sit under Deck 15’s busiest spots.
Which Deck 15 Spot Fits Your Family?
Here’s how we think about it for families:
- Little kids who love the water: Royal Bay and the Cove, with Sprinkles and El Loco Fresh close by for a lunch break.
- Grandparents who want a quieter hour: The Hideaway, if everyone in your group is 18 or older.
- Families who want lunch fast: the AquaDome Market, the Windjammer or El Loco Fresh, all included in your fare.
- A birthday or anniversary dinner: Celebration Table inside Hooked Seafood, booked ahead.
Is Deck 15 a Good Deck for Families?
Yes, Deck 15 is one of the best daytime decks on Icon of the Seas for families, because the two family pools, an ice cream counter and three dining spots included in your fare are all on one deck. Toddlers who aren’t strong swimmers will be happier at Surfside on Deck 7, and teens will want to head up to Thrill Island on Deck 16 for the waterslides.

Frequently Asked Questions About Icon of the Seas Deck 15
What is on Deck 15 of Icon of the Seas?
Deck 15 on Icon of the Seas is the main pool and dining deck. The AquaDome sits up front with the AquaTheater, Hooked Seafood, Celebration Table, the AquaDome Market and Rye & Bean. Chill Island fills the middle with the Royal Bay Pool, the Cove Pool, The Lime and Coconut, Sprinkles and El Loco Fresh. The back of the deck holds the Windjammer Marketplace and The Hideaway, the 18-and-up pool area. Here’s what that means for your family: on a sea day, you can eat, swim, catch a show and grab an ice cream without leaving Deck 15.
Are there cabins on Deck 15 of Icon of the Seas?
No, Icon of the Seas Deck 15 has no staterooms. It’s all public space: the AquaDome, the Chill Island pools, the Windjammer and The Hideaway. The cabins closest to it are on Deck 14, right below. Guest reviews flag 14138 to 14162 and 14538 to 14562 under the AquaDome, 14164 to 14286 and 14564 to 14686 under the pool deck, and 14288 to 14362 and 14688 to 14762 under The Hideaway and the Windjammer. In fact, that’s the most useful thing to know about Deck 15 when you book. Ask your advisor what sits over any Deck 14 room.
What deck is the AquaDome on Icon of the Seas?
The AquaDome is on Deck 15 of Icon of the Seas, at the front of the ship. It’s a glass-domed neighborhood built around the AquaTheater, where Icon’s water and acrobatic shows happen. Hooked Seafood, the AquaDome Market food hall and Rye & Bean are inside it too, and the lower level of the Overlook lounge sits just below on Deck 14. The simple test I use for families: if the kids love a big show, book the AquaTheater early in the week, then come back for lunch at the AquaDome Market on a sea day.
Which pool is the biggest on Icon of the Seas?
The Royal Bay Pool on Deck 15 is the biggest pool on Icon of the Seas, and Royal Caribbean calls it the largest pool at sea, with more than 40,000 gallons of water. It sits in Chill Island, in the middle of the ship, with whirlpools at each end. Across the deck is the smaller Cove Pool, which has an infinity edge facing the ocean. What families like about Royal Bay is room to spread out. On a busy sea day, though, the loungers around it can fill up, so plan to stake out your spot after breakfast.
Is The Hideaway on Icon of the Seas adults only?
Yes, The Hideaway on Icon of the Seas is adults only, for guests 18 and older. It’s at the very back of the ship on Deck 15, with the first suspended infinity pool at sea, whirlpools and its own bar. Royal Caribbean made The Hideaway the adults-only area in January 2024 and opened Cloud 17 to all ages. For grandparents traveling with the grandkids, that makes The Hideaway a nice place to take a quiet hour while the parents take a turn at Royal Bay with the little ones.
What food is included on Deck 15 of Icon of the Seas?
On Icon of the Seas Deck 15, the Windjammer Marketplace buffet, the AquaDome Market food hall, El Loco Fresh and Sprinkles soft-serve ice cream are all included in your cruise fare. Hooked Seafood and Celebration Table cost extra, and drinks at the bars are paid unless you have a beverage package. That’s 4 included food stops on one deck, which makes Deck 15 one of the easiest places on the ship to feed a hungry family between swims. In other words, you can keep the kids happy all afternoon without opening your wallet for lunch.
