How Do You Book Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique?
Book it 60 days before your visit, when Disney World dining opens.
According to Disney’s Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique page, the boutique is inside Magic Kingdom for children ages 3 to 12, and each child needs an adult 18 or older with them. Packages start at $59.99 plus tax.
Appointments are part of Disney’s Enchanting Extras Collection, so they open on the same 60-day schedule as table-service dining. Popular morning times go first, so it pays to be ready on day one.
I wrote this for the parents and grandparents who plan Disney trips with Favorite Grampy Travels. Watching a grandchild become a princess, a knight or a pirate for a day is one of the sweetest things a grandpa can see.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Quick Facts
What ages can do Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique?
Disney says children ages 3 to 12, accompanied by an adult 18 or older.
Where is Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Disney World?
Inside Magic Kingdom, and park admission is required but not included in the package price.
When can you book Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique?
Appointments open 60 days ahead, with the dining and Enchanting Extras window at about 6:00 AM Eastern.
What Happens at a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Appointment?

Your child sits in a real salon chair and gets a full fairy tale makeover.
A Fairy Godmother-in-Training handles the hair, makeup and finishing touches, depending on the package. Disney says the transformation can take up to 90 minutes, and Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother may even stop by for a visit.
Along with the child, one adult comes along, and Disney allows up to 2 more guests to watch. That means grandparents can grab a front-row seat for the big reveal.
Keep in mind that Magic Kingdom admission is required for everyone and is not included in the package price. Disney also charges a $10 fee to your card for a no-show or for canceling within 24 hours of your appointment.
When Does Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Booking Open?

Booking opens 60 days before your visit, alongside dining reservations.
As our Disney World dining reservation calculator explains, the 60-day window opens at about 6:00 AM Eastern. Disney Resort hotel guests can book dining at 60 days before check-in for their whole stay, up to 10 nights.
That resort perk matters here. If your boutique day falls late in the trip, staying on property lets you book it on the same morning as your first dinner.
For a popular week, I would treat the boutique like a hard-to-get dinner reservation. Know your date, your package and two backup times before the window opens.
If your first choice is gone, don’t give up. Families change plans all the time, so keep checking back in the weeks before your trip.
What Is the Right Age for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique?

In my view, ages 3 to 10 are the sweet spot. Disney welcomes kids up to 12.
Little ones in that range believe every bit of the magic. A four-year-old in a princess gown truly thinks she is Cinderella, and a six-year-old with a sword and shield is ready to guard the castle.
Older kids can still have a wonderful time, though. Even grandpas can get in on the fun of a costume makeover.
Years ago, Magic Kingdom had a pirate makeover shop near Pirates of the Caribbean. My grandson Jake and I both sat down in the chairs and walked out as full-blown pirates.
I was, let’s say, well past the target age. Still, Jake could not stop laughing at his salty old grandpa, and I have to admit I made a pretty convincing scallywag. That shop is gone now, but the memory is one of our family favorites.
Is Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Worth It?

Yes, for the right child. It can be one of the most memorable hours of a Disney trip.
For a young child who loves princesses or knights, the payoff is huge. They get the makeover, the reveal, and then a whole day of Cast Members and guests treating them like royalty.
That said, the Kingdom Package costs more than many table-service meals. For families watching the budget, the Adventure Package at $59.99 or the Fairy Tale Package at $119.99 delivers most of the magic for less.
On the other hand, I would skip it for a child who dislikes sitting still, hair brushing or makeup. Ninety minutes in a chair can feel long if your little one is not excited about it.
How Do You Plan a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Day?

Plan a slower Magic Kingdom day around the appointment.
After the makeover, head straight to Cinderella Castle for photos while everything looks perfect. A character meal or a princess meet and greet makes a lovely follow-up for a child in full costume.
If you want the day to feel less rushed, check our Walt Disney World crowd calendar for a quieter Magic Kingdom date. Fewer crowds mean more room to twirl.
What Should You Bring to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique?

Bring a charged phone, comfortable shoes and a little patience.
First, the reveal happens fast, and you will want photos and video of that first look in the mirror. A fully charged phone or a small power bank saves the day.
Next, pack comfortable shoes for later. A gown looks beautiful in the salon, but little feet still have a full park day ahead of them.
Finally, bring water and a small snack for the wait. Florida days run warm, so plan an indoor break or a cool treat in the afternoon for a child in a full gown.

Can Boys Do Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique?
Yes. Disney’s Adventure Package is built for kids who want to be a brave knight instead of a princess. It includes a themed shirt, a hairstyle, and a sword and shield.
It is also the least expensive package, starting at $59.99 plus tax. That makes it a nice choice when siblings visit together and one wants a gown while the other wants a sword.
Any child from 3 to 12 can pick any package. I would simply let your little one choose, because the best makeover is the one they are dreaming about.
Is Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Open at Disney Springs or the Grand Floridian?
Not right now. Disney lists the Grand Floridian location as temporarily unavailable, and the Disney Springs location is also listed as unavailable.
For now, Magic Kingdom is the place to book. That means you will need park admission for the day of your appointment.
Locations can change, so I would check the current list before you plan. An advisor can confirm which boutique is open when your booking window arrives, so you are not caught off guard on your 60-day morning.
Do You Need a Park Ticket for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique?
Yes. Disney says Magic Kingdom admission is required, and it is not included in the package price.
So plan the boutique on a day your family already has Magic Kingdom tickets. The adult with the child and any guests watching will need admission too.
I would also keep the $10 cancellation fee in mind. If plans change, cancel more than 24 hours before your appointment so your card is not charged. A quick reminder on your phone the day before makes that easy to remember.
How Can a Travel Advisor Help You Book Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique?
A great boutique day starts on your 60-days out morning.
Our advisors at Favorite Grampy Travels bring deep destination expertise to Disney vacation planning. They can map your booking dates, work the boutique into your dining plans, and build a Magic Kingdom day around the big reveal.
After you book, they also watch prices and can reprice your eligible booking if a lower rate appears. Our planning carries a fee, and the amount depends on your trip.
Your advisor quotes that fee during a complimentary 15-minute consultation, and a fee like that is a normal part of working with a professional. Book your complimentary consultation, or meet the advisors who plan Disney trips for families every week.
