For example, a family of two adults and two kids ages 3 to 9 pays $736 plus tax on a $189 night. The same family pays $896 plus tax on a $229 night.

In fact, the calendar splits into three price bands. November nights before Thanksgiving week run $189 to $199, Thanksgiving week through mid-December runs $204 to $224, and the final four nights, December 17 through 22, all cost $229. How Fast Does Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Sell Out?

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party sells out every night, and it starts early. In 2025 the first night sold out on September 10, 58 days before the party began, and all 25 nights were gone by November 19. Opening night and the last Sunday before Christmas were the first two to go. Disney does not publish a sellout history, so these dates come from the daily sellout tracking that Orlando parks news sites published through the 2025 season.

Here is the 2025 order, because it tells you which 2026 nights to lock in first. Opening night (November 7) sold out September 10, and the last Sunday (December 21) sold out September 25.

In addition, November 10 went on September 24, and November 25, the Tuesday of Thanksgiving week, went on October 7. By October 28, ten of the season’s nights were gone, and by November 3 every November night had sold out.

As of September 21, 2026, all 25 nights are still available, so this year is running a little behind last year’s pace. That said, the 2025 order is the best guide we have: opening night first, then the nights around Thanksgiving, then all of November in one rush.

Naturally, if your dates are fixed, buy in September or October. If you wait for November, plan on choosing from what is left.

What Is Included with a Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Ticket?

A party ticket includes park admission from 4:00 PM and every show at the party. It also covers five holiday ride overlays, character greetings, and unlimited cookies and holiday drinks at treat stations around the park. According to Disney’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party event page, the ticket covers a five-hour event from 7:00 PM to midnight. No separate park ticket or park reservation is needed.

For entertainment, you get Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, and Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration on the Cinderella Castle stage. Frozen Holiday Surprise lights the castle, Santa’s Christmas Carnival takes over Storybook Circus, and Club Tinsel is the dance party.

Beyond the shows, five attractions get a holiday makeover: Space Mountain, Tomorrowland Speedway (Race Through the Holidays), Mad Tea Party, Jingle Cruise and Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor. The best value nights are the three $189 nights in early November: November 9, 12 and 17. The best all-around nights for young kids are the Sundays, which cost $194 to $229. I would skip Thanksgiving week unless it is your only week; November 25 and 27 cost $209 and $219 and were among the first to sell out in 2025.

For example, a family of four on November 12 pays $736 plus tax, while the same family on December 18 pays $896 plus tax, a $160 difference for the same parade and the same fireworks. Even so, the December nights do add one thing: by mid-December the whole resort is decorated and the weather is usually cooler, which matters when you are standing on Main Street at 11:30 PM. Families visiting earlier in the fall get the same after-hours format at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and grown-up groups often pair the Christmas party with Disney Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios.

Meanwhile, families with a child under 5 should pick a night with a rest day after it. The party ends at midnight, the bus lines run long, and nobody in my family has ever been cheerful at breakfast the next morning.
