Can You Book Disney’s Christmas Parties from the UK?

Yes, UK families can book both 2026 Christmas parties. The catch is that Disney’s US website won’t let UK visitors buy party tickets online. British guests end up buying through a UK ticket broker or a US travel agency that books in dollars.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party runs 25 nights from November 8 to December 22, 2026, at $189 to $229 per ticket plus tax. Disney Jollywood Nights runs 15 nights from November 7, 2026 to January 5, 2027, at $169 to $199 per ticket plus tax.

This guide is for UK parents and grandparents planning a November or December Walt Disney World trip. The October party, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, shows as sold out on Disney’s special event tickets page, and our Christmas party tickets page tracks which 2026 nights are still open.

How Do UK Families Get Party Tickets Without the US Website?

Most UK families use a ticket broker or a travel agency. Either way you end up with the same Disney party ticket, linked to your Disney account. What changes is the currency you pay in, the price after any discount code, and whether anyone helps you choose the night or fix things when your flights move.

For example, UK ticket brokers sell the parties in pounds. Some run discount codes, so their price can land close to Disney’s or below it.

A US agency like ours books in dollars, at Disney’s prices of $169 to $229 per ticket plus tax. The difference is the planning around the ticket. A family of four flying in on November 10 might need the right night, a Magic Kingdom day that isn’t the party date, and a hotel near the monorail.

Naturally, if all you want is one ticket at the lowest price, a broker is a sensible choice. A couple adding Jollywood Nights to a honeymoon, or grandparents juggling three generations, usually get more from a planner.

Can You Do the Halloween and Christmas Parties on One Trip?

Yes, and it is one of my favorite times of year to go with the grandkids. Magic Kingdom switches from Halloween to Christmas overnight. A stay that straddles October 31 gets both seasons.

Here is how it works on the 2026 calendar. The last Halloween party is Saturday, October 31, Jollywood Nights opens Saturday, November 7, and the first Christmas party is Sunday, November 8. That means a two-week trip from late October gets you all three.

That said, the 2026 Halloween party is already gone. All 38 nights are sold out, so this plan works for 2027 if you book Halloween tickets the day they go on sale.

What Happens at Magic Kingdom on the Night of October 31?

Once the last Halloween party guests leave, Disney’s Holiday Services team takes down every pumpkin and hangs the Christmas decorations before morning. The same team works through the night each season, as the Disney Parks Blog showed with its autumn crew of nearly 80 cast members.

In fact, I have walked in on November 1, and every trace of Halloween was gone. It was Christmas time, and it felt like somebody had flipped a switch on the whole park.

My grandkids came home with bunches and bunches of candy, so pack an empty tote bag for the flight home. Then we book the Christmas party for the first week it runs, so the grandkids get Halloween candy and Christmas snow on the same holiday.

Why Is Early November a Smart Time for UK Families to Visit?

Early November gives you Christmas decorations with lighter crowds. Our Walt Disney World crowd calendar puts November 1 to 7 at an average of 5.8, the quietest week of the month.

Meanwhile, Christmas week, December 24 to 30, averages a full 10.0. On top of that, the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival runs until November 21, 2026, with more than 30 food and drink marketplaces across the park.

Before you book, know that one timing detail catches UK families out. In many English council areas, October half term 2026 is October 26 to 30, but the first Christmas party is not until November 8. A half-term week alone will not reach either Christmas party this year, so plan on two weeks or a November trip.

Should You Do Both the Christmas Party and Jollywood Nights?

Do both if your trip runs longer than a week. The two parties feel different, so doing both is not overkill. Together they cost $358 to $428 per person plus tax, and on the 2026 calendar you could do Jollywood Nights on Saturday, November 7 and the Christmas party the next night.

For example, the Christmas party is Magic Kingdom with the parade, fireworks, cookies and snow falling on Main Street. Jollywood Nights is Hollywood Studios with jazz, old-Hollywood glamour and a later finish at 12:30 AM. I would leave at least one rest day between them, because two midnight finishes in a row is hard on anyone still adjusting to Florida time.

Even so, if you can only pick one, families with children under 10 should choose the Christmas party. Couples, honeymooners and grown-up groups often enjoy Jollywood Nights more, since it leans more grown-up.

Is Christmas Day at Magic Kingdom Better Than the Party?

For most families, no. Christmas week is the busiest week of the year, while the party is a separately ticketed night with the holiday shows built in.

Better still, the last party night in 2026 is Tuesday, December 22, just three days before Christmas, at $229 per ticket plus tax. You get Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, the Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks and cookies and holiday drinks at the treat stations, all included with your ticket. On Christmas Day itself, our crowd calendar has the whole week averaging 10 out of 10.

Even so, there is one group I would steer toward Christmas Day. If your group is adults only and being in the park on December 25 is the dream, go for it. That is a regular park day, and I wouldn’t talk you out of it.

How Do UK Families Plan the Party Around Jet Lag?

Put the party on your third or fourth night in Orlando. A party that ends at midnight Florida time finishes at 5:00 AM for a body still on UK time.

Beyond that, watch the clocks in late October. The UK goes back an hour on October 25, 2026, but Florida does not change until November 1, so for that one week Orlando is only four hours behind. Meanwhile, the party ticket lets you in from 4:00 PM, which gives you three hours of rides before the party starts at 7:00 PM.

Of course, the morning after matters as much as the night itself. I never book a rope drop the day after a party, because nobody in my family is cheerful at 7:00 AM after a midnight parade.

So if your trip starts on November 1 or later, you are choosing between Jollywood Nights, which opens November 7, and the Christmas party, which opens November 8. Of course, plenty of families simply do both.
