Attention Disney Travelers! Walt Disney World has just announced a new dining plan promotion for 2026. In addition to the Free Dining Plan for Kids, a new deal has recently come out for families traveling on select dates.
What is a Disney Dining Plan?
Ever worried about budgeting for meals and snacks on your Walt Disney World vacation? No one wants to feel that financial strain during their day at the most magical place on earth, wondering if they should get that Mickey-shaped pretzel or not. A Disney Dining Plan takes away this stress by utilizing a prepaid meal plan with both meal and snack credits to be used at most locations throughout the resorts and parks.
The Disney Dining Plans give you peace of mind, convenience, and flexibility to choose what you want at any time. There are two types of dining plans available: the Disney Dining Plan and the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan. Both have incredible perks that make vacationing a breeze. It all comes down to how you like to experience the culinary magic of Disney.
The Disney Dining Plan is Disney’s classic meal plan perfect for families that want to enjoy daily table-service meals— including some Character dining locations. Guests 3 years and up receive a resort-refillable drink mug as well as one quick-service meal credit, one table-service meal credit, and one snack credit or nonalcoholic beverage per night of their package. The Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan was made for adventurous families on the go. While some guests like to take it slow, others don’t prefer the table-service experiences and find better value in quick service and mobile ordering between rides. This package includes a resort-refillable drink mug as well as two quick-service meals and one snack or nonalcoholic beverage per eligible guest for each night of the resort package.
Meal and snack credits can be used at any time throughout your stay and can be tracked in the My Disney Experience app. It is recommended that you book reservations to use table-service credits ahead of time because certain dining locations are subject to availability.

Disney is giving out complimentary dining plans to eligible guests who book a non-discounted 4-night, 4-day Walt Disney Travel Company package at select Disney Deluxe or Disney Deluxe Villa hotels; the 4-day theme park tickets must include the Park Hopper option to be eligible for this delicious offer.
This exclusive promotion is available for packages for arrivals on select nights in 2026 from:
- June 28th to October 3rd
- October 19th to October 31st
- December 6th to December 21st

For most of the dates listed previously (some exclusions apply), guests who book a non-discounted 4-night, 4-day Walt Disney Travel Company package at a select Disney Moderate or Value resort with the Park Hopper option included may be eligible for a free Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan.

2026 Kids Eat Free Promotion
This year, Disney is offering a second dining promotion for kids ages 3-9 years old. For any valid arrival in 2026, guests staying at a Disney Resort Collection hotel who purchase a Disney dining plan for all guests ages 10+ in their party are eligible for this deal which gives kids ages 3-9 a free dining plan. The dining plan the kids receive will match the dining plan tier that was purchased by the rest of the party.
To be eligible for this deal, everyone in the same room must be on the same package with the same dining plan and the child aged 3-9 must be in a room with an adult. This promotion is subject to availability, and offerings may run out. Make sure to secure your promotion ahead of time so your young kids can enjoy free snacks, quick-service meals, and even character experiences!
