Universal Orlando Annual Pass Prices

Universal Orlando sells four annual pass tiers, Seasonal, Power, Preferred, and Premier, for 2 parks (Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure) or 3 parks (adding Universal Epic Universe), with lower prices for Florida residents. The table below shows what each pass costs today on Universal’s online store, before tax, and it refreshes twice a day with the rest of this tracker. A pass usually pays off for families planning two or more visits within a year, and passholders also unlock the Annual Passholder hotel rates on our Universal Orlando hotel rate tracker.

Universal Orlando Ticket Types Explained

Universal Orlando sells park tickets by length (1 to 7 days), by parks, and by how you move between them. Every dated ticket is priced by the first day you use it, which is why the calendar above asks for all three choices before it shows a price.

Ticket Choice What It Means Good Fit For
One park per day (base) Each ticket day is spent in a single park. It is the lowest price for every ticket length. Families who like to settle into one park for the whole day.
Park-to-park Move between Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure on the same day, including a ride on the Hogwarts Express between Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley. It runs about $20 more per day than the base ticket. First-time visitors and Harry Potter fans.
2 parks or 3 parks 2-park tickets cover Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure. 3-park tickets add Universal Epic Universe. Epic Universe is also sold as its own 1-day ticket. Anyone who wants Epic Universe on the trip should compare the 3-park tickets.
Volcano Bay Universal's water park. It is sold as a 1-day ticket or added to 3- to 7-day tickets, and it closes for part of the year, so some dates show no price. Warm-weather trips with a pool day built in.
Adult or child Child tickets are for ages 3 to 9 and adult tickets for ages 10 and up. Children under 3 do not need a ticket. Pricing a whole family: switch the calendar between Adult and Child.
Florida resident Discounted versions of most tickets for Florida residents, with proof of residency required. Florida families and anyone moving to Florida before the trip.
Special and promo tickets Limited-time tickets, like the Special 3-Day Ticket, that are sold for a limited window of dates. They show with a dashed outline on the calendar. Flexible travelers whose dates fall inside the promo window.
Annual passes Seasonal, Power, Preferred, and Premier passes for 2 or 3 parks. They are a fixed price, shown in the table under the calendar. Families planning two or more visits within a year.
Favorite Grampy
Favorite Grampy's Insider Tip Pick your start date before you pick your ticket. The same 3-day park-to-park ticket can cost about $179 more per person when it starts the week of Christmas than when it starts on a quiet late-summer Sunday, and that is more than the gap between most ticket types. Before you buy, slide your start date a few days in each direction on the calendar. Once your dates are set, go ahead and buy, because Universal's dated tickets are tied to the start date you choose.

How the Ticket Types Stack Up

Universal sells the same visit several different ways, and the gap between them adds up fast for a family. Here is a real 3-day, 3-park adult ticket starting about 60 days out, refreshed automatically with the tracker, to show the spread.

3-Day, 3-Park TicketAdult, Starting Dec 8, 2026Who It Is For
Base (one park per day)$422.99Anyone happy to spend each day in a single park.
Park-to-park$482.99Anyone. Hop between parks on the same day and ride the Hogwarts Express.
Park-to-park, Florida resident$362.99Florida residents (proof of residency required).

For this start date, adding park-to-park costs about $60 more than the base ticket, which is $20 a day. Florida residents pay about $120 less for the same park-to-park ticket.

The same 3-day park-to-park adult ticket ranges from $430.99 (starting Aug 29, 2027) to $609.99 (starting Dec 23, 2026), a gap of about $179 per person, or more than $700 for a family of four, just from the start date.

Universal Orlando Ticket Price FAQs

Do Universal Orlando Ticket Prices Change by Date?

Yes. Universal Orlando sells dated tickets, and the price depends on the first day you plan to use them, so the same ticket can cost very different amounts on different dates. In our October 2026 data, the 3-day park-to-park adult ticket for all three theme parks ranged from $430.99 to $609.99 depending on the start date, a difference of about $179 per person for the exact same ticket. Universal can also move the price of a date that is already on sale. That is why the calendar on this page refreshes twice a day and marks dates whose price recently rose or dropped.

When Are Universal Orlando Tickets the Least Expensive?

Universal Orlando tickets are usually least expensive for start dates in the slower stretches of the year and most expensive for the holidays. In our October 2026 data, the lowest price for the 3-day park-to-park ticket was for a start in late August 2027, and the highest prices were for starts from December 23 through December 29, 2026, with December the priciest month on average. The day of the week matters much less: Monday and Tuesday starts averaged about $20 less than Friday and Saturday starts for the same 3-day ticket. The simple test I give families is to slide the start date a few days on the calendar before switching ticket types, because the date usually moves the price more.

Is a Park-to-Park Ticket Worth the Extra Cost?

For most families visiting both Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, yes. Park-to-park runs about $20 more per day than a one-park-per-day ticket, lets you move between those two parks on the same day, and is the only way to ride the Hogwarts Express between Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley. For a 3-day, 3-park adult ticket starting Dec 8, 2026, the base ticket was $422.99 and park-to-park was $482.99, a $60 difference for the whole ticket. If your group is happy to spend each full day in one park, the base ticket keeps that money in your pocket. Epic Universe is a separate park, so check the ticket details for how its days work on the ticket you choose.

How Much Less Do Kids and Florida Residents Pay?

Child tickets, for ages 3 to 9, usually cost only a few dollars less than adult tickets, while Florida residents can save a lot more. Across every date on sale in October 2026, the child 3-day park-to-park ticket averaged about $7 less than the adult ticket, and the Florida resident version averaged about $83 less than the standard one. Children under 3 do not need a ticket. Florida resident tickets require proof of residency, so use the Florida resident box on the calendar only if everyone using those tickets qualifies.

Can a Travel Agent Buy Universal Orlando Tickets for Me?

Yes, a travel agent can book Universal Orlando tickets for you, either on their own or as part of a package with an on-site hotel.
