Disney, Universal, cruises, all-inclusives: we turn “Where do we even start?” into “Best Trip Ever!”
Favorite Grampy Travels is a full-service vacation planning agency for families, couples, and multigenerational groups: Walt Disney World and Disneyland, Universal Orlando, cruises, all-inclusives, and Europe. What makes us different? Our advisors actually go. We walk the parks, sail the ships, and sleep in the resorts we recommend. You get a dedicated expert who designs the whole trip around your family, a planning fee quoted up front, and a free 15-minute consultation to start.

“Our anniversary trip to Malta was planned wonderfully! There was a balance of guided tours, and time to explore on our own… The advanced background planning allowed us to enjoy all this without stress and confusion, and that makes a great vacation!”

“Even after the initial quote and booking they continue to watch for new promotions and that you are getting the BEST deal possible… They are only a phone call away from the time you book until you return home from your vacation.”

You open twenty browser tabs. Every website swears it has the best deal. One says book early, the next says wait for a sale, and somewhere in there you’re supposed to know which resort is right for a stroller and a teenager and Grandma’s knee, all at the same time.
That’s the part we take off your plate. We’ll handle the details so you can focus on finding matching shirts and packing enough snacks. You bring the family; we’ll bring the plan.
Our advisors physically visit the parks, sail the ships, and stay in the resorts, so your recommendations come from someone who’s actually stood on that balcony, not from a brochure.
Our planning fee compensates your advisor for the time, research, and concierge support your trip takes. Some suppliers also pay us a commission when we book, but our recommendations are based on what fits your family, not on chasing a commission.
We handle the research, the comparisons, the reservations, and the logistics, and we head off the expensive missteps before they happen.
You’re not on your own once it’s booked. Our process includes a pre-trip consultation, a mid-trip check-in, and a post-trip follow-up.
You get one named advisor who knows your family and your trip, matched by state and specialty, not assigned by a queue.
We quote your planning fee during the free 15-minute consultation, before you pay a thing. No surprises.
Every trip is custom. Pick where you’re headed, and see exactly how we plan it.
An Authorized Disney Vacation Planner agency: resorts, dining at 60 days, Lightning Lane strategy, tickets & itineraries for every Disney destination.
A Universal U-Preferred Platinum agency that knows Epic Universe, the virtual queues, the three hotel tiers, Express Pass, and the ticket maze.
The right ship and the right stateroom: we steer you past obstructed views, noisy cabins, and long hauls to the elevator, across DCL, Royal Caribbean, Virgin & more.
Families, couples & groups: Beaches, Sandals, Mexico, the Caribbean. We’ve stayed in the rooms, so we know what “oceanview” really means.
Most agencies shout “free.” We’ll tell you the truth instead: exactly what our planning fee is, why it makes us better for your family, and what you get for it.
That’s what the free 15-minute consultation is for. Tell us who’s going and roughly when, and we’ll point you in the right direction.
Plenty of travel agents can book a trip. That doesn’t need much expertise. Fewer will design and plan it around your family needs and stay in your corner from the first question you ask to the last day of your trip. That’s the difference between taking an order and expert concierge planning, and it’s what your planning fee pays for.
| Level | What you get |
|---|---|
| Booking Agent | Takes your order and books it |
| Travel Advisor | Recommends, then books |
| Concierge (Favorite Grampy Travels) | Designs your trip based on you, finds the best value, books it, and supports you before, during, & after your trip. |
Here’s exactly what working with us looks like, including the parts most agencies skip.
Step 1: Free 15-minute consultation, where we learn about your family and quote your exact fee before you commit.
Step 2: Invoice is sent. Once you’re ready, we get started.
Step 3: Quote & itinerary development around your dates, budget, and who’s traveling.
Step 4: Detailed planning & finalizing: reservations, dining, tickets, logistics.
Step 5: Final / pre-trip consultation. Bon Voyage!
Step 6: Mid-trip check-in. We’re reachable while you’re traveling.
Step 7: Post-trip follow-up. We hear how it went and start thinking about next time.
Steps 6 & 7 are where we’re different: we don’t disappear once you’ve left home.
Agency-level designations, framed around what they mean for your trip.
Authorized Disney Vacation Planner Agency: trained, accountable Disney expertise and access to planning tools the public doesn’t get.
Universal U-Preferred Platinum Agency: our top-tier status means faster problem-solving and stronger access for your Universal trip.
Sandals & Beaches Preferred Agency: recognized all-inclusive expertise, with perks and support for your resort stay.
IATA · CLIA · ASTA member: the industry credentials that signal a legitimate, protected agency.
And that’s okay. Being upfront about it saves everyone time.
You won’t get a call center. You’ll get one dedicated advisor, matched to your destination, your state, and the kind of trip your family is planning.

One of our families wanted to book a Universal vacation with their hearts set on Portofino Bay. But their budget said Cabana Bay, so Cabana Bay it was. For most families, the story ends right there. Theirs didn’t, because their Concierge Travel Advisor kept watching rates.
When she noticed Portofino Bay had dropped into their price range, she caught it. She immediately moved them over from a value resort to the signature hotel, and even managed to add an extra day with the savings!
Then life threw the family a curveball: their son had an accident and the whole trip had to shift. Their advisor sprang into action and rebuilt the entire vacation around their new dates, kept them at Portofino Bay, and held the price almost exactly where it had been. She also walked them through Universal’s accommodation pass process, which can be confusing to navigate alone, so their son’s needs were taken care of before they ever stepped into a park. And she still kept watching rates. Every price drop since has gone straight back into their reservation.
The final outcome she delivered was their dream resort and two extra nights at the exact price of their original Cabana Bay booking. Wow!
Here is the important part. Universal doesn’t call you when prices fall. If nobody is watching your booking, the savings come and go, and you never find out what your budget could have bought. Plus, if something happens before or during your trip, you have an advocate to help, and that is real peace of mind.
That’s the quiet difference between just booking a trip and having one of Favorite Grampy Travels’ Concierge Travel Advisors in your corner.
After a complimentary 15-minute consultation, custom concierge planning includes a non-refundable Concierge Retainer, typically $250 per trip, which increases with the length of travel, complexity of the trip, activities, tours, excursions, accommodations, and number of travelers. We tell you exactly what’s included before you pay.
Why a fee at all? It means our advice is built around your family, not around chasing a commission.
