About Me

Brittney Peeler – Concierge Travel Advisor | Theme Parks & Cruises

Brittney Peeler is a Concierge Travel Advisor with Favorite Grampy Travels, specializing in theme park vacations, all-inclusive resorts, and cruises, based in Duncan, South Carolina.

Why I Plan More Trips Than Most People Have Vacation Days

I find deals. That is the short version. I end up on so many trips because I spot a great price and cannot resist booking it, which is exactly how I help you travel more than you thought you could afford.

It started with one trip to Europe. I grew up taking the same week at the beach every summer, loving it, but always wondering what else was out there. After that first trip overseas, I was hooked, and I have not stopped researching destinations since.

Eventually I hit a wall, because I could not physically go on every trip I was researching. So I decided to hand all that knowledge to other people instead, and I have loved being a travel agent ever since.

Theme Parks Are My Home Base

Theme parks are my deepest specialty and where I travel the most, with 20+ trips to Walt Disney World and 15+ to Universal Orlando under my belt. I have walked these parks as a planner, a solo traveler, and a runDisney racer, so I have seen them from angles most visitors never do.

That depth matters because Disney and Universal change constantly. A lot of first-time visitors ask me whether they really need to add Universal Orlando‘s newest park to the plan. My answer is usually yes, and I got to see why early, because I attended Epic Universe previews before it opened to the public.

There is more coming, too. Universal just announced Universal Celestial Goodnight, a nighttime fireworks spectacular debuting at Epic Universe on July 7, 2026, pulling together Harry Potter, Nintendo, the Classic Monsters, and How to Train Your Dragon over Celestial Park. Knowing what is opening and when is half of building a trip that actually feels worth it.

How I Help You Spend Smart, Not Just Less

My whole approach is finding the best options and handing you the choice. I narrow a giant pile of possibilities down to the few that fit your family, you pick the one that jumps out, and if nothing jumps out, we start over. No pressure, no overwhelm.

Here is the insider tip I give that most advisors do not: buy discounted Disney gift cards all year long. I grab one whenever I am at Target or Sam’s Club, then combine them to pay for a trip. Paying a little at a time is so much easier than one big chunk, and it adds up faster than you would think.

That kind of detail is what people are paying for. It is also why clients tell me they want to book their next trip with me before they have even left on the first one.

Cruises, All-Inclusives, and Knowing When to Splurge

Cruises and all-inclusives are where I help you decide what is worth the upgrade. I have sailed roughly 10 different ocean and river ships, so I know that the right cabin in the right spot changes how the whole trip feels.

River cruises are my personal weakness, where the service is top notch and I get a history lesson while drinking wine. I travel a lot of these with my mom, who is retired and one of the only people who can drop everything and sail to Europe with me next month when I find a great deal. For pure relaxation, I send people to an all-inclusive Beaches resort and tell them to bring a book.

My background outside travel is in medicine, as a radiation therapist, which means precision and double-checking details are simply how my brain works. Nothing slips through. You feel that the most when the paperwork, the timing, and the little reservations all line up without you having to think about them.

Questions Brittney Hears a Lot

Q: What does Brittney specialize in?

I specialize in theme park vacations at Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando, plus ocean and river cruises and all-inclusive resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean. I am certified across Disney, Universal, and multiple cruise lines, and I have personally visited Walt Disney World 20-plus times. Deal-finding is my signature.

Q: How far ahead should I book a Disney or Universal trip?

For Disney and Universal, I like to start six to twelve months out. That window protects the resort and dining you actually want, especially during summer and holidays. Booking early also lets me watch for price drops and rebook you lower if a better rate appears, which happens more often than people expect.

Q: Is Epic Universe worth adding to a Universal Orlando trip?

For most families, yes. Epic Universe opened in 2025 with five immersive worlds, including Super Nintendo World and a Harry Potter land, and it is unlike anything else in Orlando. I previewed it before opening, so I can tell you which days and ticket types make adding it genuinely worth your time rather than a rushed afterthought.

Q: What is the best way to save money on a Disney vacation?

Buy discounted Disney gift cards throughout the year and combine them toward your trip. I grab one almost every time I shop at Target or Sam’s Club. Beyond that, flexible dates and the right resort tier save real money, and I track promotions after you book so you never overpay for a date that later went on sale.

Agent's Favorites

Favorite Park: Animal Kingdom: It is low-key and more relaxing than the other parks, so I steer families here on the day they need to catch their breath.

Favorite Restaurant: Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge: I send people here for the buffet, and then you walk out to see the savanna animals. Everything on it is delicious, and it is one of my easiest recommendations to make.

Favorite Attraction: Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind: It is such a fun ride that you cannot get off it without smiling, which is exactly why I tell EPCOT first-timers to make time for it.

Favorite Snack: Grilled corn on the cob in Africa at Animal Kingdom: It is grilled fresh and a genuine break from the usual theme park food, so I always point clients toward it.

Favorite Family Spot: Magic Kingdom: There is nothing like watching a child see Cinderella Castle for the first time, and planning that exact moment is my favorite part of the job.

Favorite Adventure: An Alaska cruise: We booked excursions to fly over glaciers in a seaplane and rode the train to White Pass Summit, and it is the trip I recommend to anyone craving big scenery.
