Hi! I’m Shannon—a travel planner, park enthusiast, and mom of two living right here in Orlando.
My love for theme parks began as a child with Disney, but now it goes far beyond Mickey and Minnie. I know the magic of Walt Disney World and Disneyland, but I also have deep, hands-on experience with Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, Volcano Bay, and the all-new Epic Universe. I visit these parks often, learning all the best tips so I can help you get the most out of your trip.

Favorite Universal Park – Epic Universe is my new obsession, especially the Isle of Berk. There’s nothing like stepping into the world of “How to Train Your Dragon.” Meeting Toothless is always a highlight for me!
Favorite Disney Park – While each park holds a special place in my heart, I absolutely love the rides, food, and interactions at Hollywood Studios. From Toy Story to Star Wars, the immersion with the lands here is just incredible… and as a big fan of rides you can’t beat Rock n Rollercoaster or Tower of Terror!
Favorite Disney Restaurant – California Grill is my top pick. There’s something magical about being on top of the Contemporary Resort, watching fireworks, or just seeing Magic Kingdom lit up at night. The food and service are always wonderful, and I love all the allergy-friendly menu options. It’s my go-to place for celebrating special occasions.
Favorite Disney Character – Stitch. I’ve always loved the movie since I was little, but his adorable personality and voice — and his journey from bad to good and learning about Ohana — gets me teary-eyed every time. Plus, Stitch is literally the cutest Disney character ever… I own probably every Stitch and Angel stuffed animal ever made.
Favorite Universal Attraction – Monsters Unchained at Epic Universe is hands-down my favorite ride. The story, the thrills, and the surprises make it a can’t-miss experience every single visit.
Favorite Disney Attraction – Space Mountain because nothing beats the classic feeling of zipping around in the dark doing those quick turns and feeling like you might hit your head on the track above you. It’s a classic ride, but as a thrill seeker, it still holds that sense of excitement.
Favorite Universal Treat – PB&J (Pork, Bacon, and Jam) Mac & Cheese Cone at Epic Universe.
Favorite Disney Snack – Mickey Pretzel
