I’m Wanda and I live in Northern Virginia with my husband, two teenagers and a yellow lab. I’m lucky to live in an area where it’s a metro ride to the museums in DC to a relatively short drive to the beaches on the east coast.
I love to travel, meet new people, try new restaurants and go on adventures. Some of my favorite adventures have included riding my bike on the beach in Kiawah Island, South Carolina, zip lining in St. Maarten, skiing the slopes in Colorado, and kayaking in Portugal.
While we have been to many beach locations, as well as ski resorts, we have also experienced the fun theme parks in both Florida and California. We had fun meeting the princesses in Cinderella’s castle and having breakfast with Mickey & Friends in Walt Disney World. Most recently, we visited Disneyland Park & Disney California Adventure Park. It was fascinating to discover the similarities and differences between Walt Disney World and Disneyland, yet they share the same enchanting Disney magic.

Favorite Disney Destination – I like both Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Disneyland is nice as it’s more consolidated. I like how you can walk across to Disney California Adventure Park and do not need to get on a monorail or bus. Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World is a lot of fun as well.
Favorite Disney Attraction – Radiator Springs Racers in California Adventure Park… it is so much fun being in a race car!
Favorite Disney Character – Mickey & Minnie Mouse because they are so cute together
Favorite Adult Vacation Spot – Anywhere tropical because I love the beach & water
Favorite Family Vacation Spot – I have several! Hawaii (for the food, history, volcanos, friendly people, and beauty), St. Maartin/Martin (the Dutch and French side for the food and beaches), St. Barth (for the beaches), and Anguilla (for the beauty and swimming with the dolphins)
Favorite Winter Destination – Breckenridge… such a cute town & my favorite ski area
Favorite Adventure Experience – Ziplining in St. Maarten!
