As a family, we focus on experiences over “stuff.“ We love to travel, and I cherish the memories we have made as a family. My husband and I have been married for 24 years and have 2 beautiful daughters, 16 and 12. I feel so thankful that we have been able to instill a love of travel into them from a young age…we are always planning our next adventure.
We have traveled so many places, from Hawaii to the Caribbean to the snow covered slopes of Utah, and everything in between. But we always come back to Disney. There is just something magical about the parks, the attractions, and the atmosphere. We have done Disney with a large group, and just our family of 4, in really crowded times and during the pandemic when the crowds were at low capacity.

Favorite Disney Destination – Walt Disney World. It holds so many memories for my family, and is so easy to get to from our home in Maryland. With the variety of parks and rides, there is something for everyone.
Favorite Disney Park – This one is hard to pick because I love them all. We are big thrill-seekers and love all of the rides, but there is nothing like starting our trip at Magic Kingdom. Seeing the castle just starts the trip on the right foot.
Favorite Disney Restaurant – Yak and Yeti. I love the atmosphere and the delicious Asian food.
Favorite Disney Character – Princess Belle… as an avid reader myself, I have always connected with her.
Favorite Disney Attraction – Aerosmith Rock ‘n Roll coaster! I love the takeoff, the fun music, and the anticipation in my belly as I wait for the ride to start.
Favorite Disney Snack – A bucket of popcorn while we are standing in line for the rides. We refill at least once a day!
Favorite Family Vacation Spot – If we aren’t in Disney, we love the beach. Aruba is a family favorite of ours! The water is so calm and there is so much to do.
Favorite Adventure Experience – Zip-lining in Maui… The views were amazing!
Favorite Winter Destination – Skiing in Park City, UT… The town is so quaint and the conditions are amazing.
