Manny Oliverez has always had an entrepreneurial spark. From running his first photography business at age 12 to opening two restaurants by 19, he’s spent his life creating opportunities and experiences for others. Later, his 30-year career in healthcare administration earned him a reputation for precision, care,
and service — always with families at the heart of his work.

But Manny’s proudest title isn’t entrepreneur or professional—it’s Grampy. Known affectionately as “Favorite Grampy,” he found his greatest joy in the sparkle of his grandchildren’s eyes. He became the fun one: the grandparent who says yes to donuts for dinner, stays up past bedtime, and never misses a chance to turn an ordinary day into a treasured adventure.

Manny has also authored books celebrating the role of grandparents and created the popular Favorite Grampy.com blog, where he’s shared his humor, wisdom, and joy with families everywhere. His stories whether about spoiling grandkids at Disney, filling strollers with candy, or sharing quiet moments that become family legends remind us all that life’s best souvenirs aren’t bought, they’re made.

Today, Manny continues to be the heart behind Favorite Grampy Travels. His legacy is built on the belief that vacations are more than trips they’re investments in love, laughter, and memories that bind generations together. That’s what makes him Favorite Grampy.

About Nikki

Nikki Hendrix is the CEO and Owner of Favorite Grampy Travels, a family-focused travel agency she founded in honor of her father, “Favorite Grampy,” who taught her that life is about experiences, not things. Since 2019, Nikki has grown the agency into a nationally recognized brand with a team of Travel Advisors who help families create priceless memories around the world.

Leveraging her background in marketing and management, Nikki has built Facebook communities of more than 700,000 members, generating 10,000+ qualified leads annually and driving millions in sales for her agents. Her innovative approach earned her the 2024 TravelAge West WAVE Award for Best Use of Social Media.

A respected voice in the industry, Nikki is a member of the Travel ALLIES Society and Female Leaders in Travel. She mentors aspiring agents and agency owners, speaks on major industry stages, and has been featured on multiple podcasts. In 2025, she took the stage at the ASTA Travel Advisor Conference in Salt Lake City to lead the session “Unleashing the Power of Facebook Groups” as part of the Accelerate Track.

Her greatest passion lies in equipping travel advisors with the tools, support, and inspiration they need to thrive in a constantly evolving industry. Through her leadership, Nikki continues to raise the bar for advisors everywhere, fostering a culture of growth, professionalism, and shared success.

About Kirsten

Kirsten Andrade is the Director of Operations and Travel Advisor Development at Favorite Grampy Travels and FG Luxury Travel. She focuses on creating structure, strategy, and support that empower advisors and streamline agency operations. With more than five years of experience as a concierge travel advisor serving thousands of clients, Kirsten brings valuable firsthand knowledge and industry insight to her leadership role. She oversees advisor onboarding and training, mentors team members, and ensures advisors have the tools and confidence to grow their businesses and deliver exceptional client service.

Kirsten has been widely recognized for her leadership and innovation in the travel industry. In 2022, she was named one of TravelAge West’s “Future Leaders in Travel.” She is a member of the Travel ALLIES Society, a community dedicated to advancing leadership in travel. Kirsten also served as a board member on the Pittsburgh ASTA Chapter. In 2024, she was honored at the TravelAge West Trendsetter Awards with the Best Targeted Marketing Idea award for her Genie+ Masterclass, a groundbreaking program that provided unmatched live guidance and updates for Disney travelers.
