Hi I’m Holly a travel agent with Favorite Grampy Travels specializing in Universal Orlando Resort.
I’m a proud boy mom to three amazing sons (20, 19, and 13), and we live on a farm in a small town in South Dakota. When we’re not working the land or chasing chickens, you’ll find us enjoying time at our cabin by the lake or planning our next family adventure.
Traveling is a big part of our lives — whether it’s a weekend road trip or a full-on Universal Studios vacation, we love making memories together. My passion for helping families plan meaningful, stress-free trips comes directly from the joy I’ve found in planning them for my own.
I’ve always loved travel, but Universal Studios Orlando has a special place in my heart. My family and I visit multiple times a year, and each trip brings something new—whether it’s casting spells in Diagon Alley, braving the VelociCoaster, cooling off at Volcano Bay, or counting down the days until we can fly with dragons in the How to Train Your Dragon land at Epic Universe.
I bring first-hand experience from some of Universal’s most exciting seasonal events—like Mardi Gras, Grinchmas, and Halloween Horror Nights. I’ve also visited during Easter and peak summer, so I know what it’s like to navigate the parks during busy times.
I’ve already explored the brand-new Epic Universe multiple times and can help you make the most of every land—from thrilling rides to can’t-miss shows, delicious dining spots, and hidden gems that most guests overlook.
I’ve personally stayed at six of Universal’s resort hotels, giving me a solid understanding of what each property offers—from budget-friendly to luxury. I also have experience using the Universal Attraction Assistance Pass and can guide your family through the process, including how it works at various rides—so everyone in your group can enjoy the fun with less stress.

Favorite Universal Restaurant – Pizza Moon in Universal Epic Universe! The theming is immersive, the portions are generous, and it’s always a hit with my three boys.
Favorite Universal Attraction – Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure! The storytelling, theming, and coaster thrills make it a must-do every single visit.
Favorite Universal Snack – I can never skip ice cream from Florean Fortescue’s in Diagon Alley for the unique flavors! Butterbeer or Earl Grey & Lavender, anyone?
Favorite Universal Character – Hiccup and Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon. Their bond is heartwarming, and I’m so excited to see them featured in Universal Epic Universe… it makes the whole experience even more meaningful for families.
Favorite Adult Vacation Spot – Universal Orlando isn’t just for kids! This destination offers great food, incredible nightlife at CityWalk, and deluxe resorts that offer a relaxing escape after a day in the parks!
Favorite Adventure Experience – Seeing the bioluminescence light up the water during a night kayak tour, and then watching a rocket launch from Cape Canaveral….. it was absolutely unforgettable.
Favorite Relaxation Destination – Discovery Cove is a paradise in Orlando, with a lazy river, dolphin swims, and all-inclusive dining—the perfect peaceful escape.
Favorite Winter Destination – Believe it or not, Universal Orlando is my favorite winter destination. With cooler temps, festive decorations, and events like Grinchmas, it’s the perfect place to celebrate the holidays without the snow boots.
