All About Me
HI! My name is Allyson and I live in Michigan with my Husband of 14 years. We have two amazing sons who are 12 and 5 years old. We are lucky enough to live in a state with all four season and an amazing number of beaches. However, the winter is cold and this is where my love for travel began! Nothing better than leaving snow to jump off a plane into 80-degree weather!
I am an avid Disney lover ever since I have been young. We would always go on trips with my parents and grandparents. My earliest memory of Disney is going on the “Big Red Boat” cruise with a Disney vacation immediately following.
Once we had kids, I will never forget my first trip back to Disney World after so many years. To say we were overwhelmed was an understatement. I even remember my husband saying this will be a “One and Done”, and then we arrived!
The magic simply takes over from the moment you arrive on the property and it leaves you wanting to come back right away! You will never forget your children’s face when they see the castle the first time or watch the fireworks at Magic Kingdom! Since we went in 2018, we have been back almost every year since then. You will now even see my husband sporting a Donald Duck fanny pack!
Our love for travel doesn’t end at Disney. We also love to take cruises as you simply pack your bags, arrive, and enjoy the trip with few worries! There is something for ever member of the family to enjoy on the cruise from activity to a wide variety of food! Besides cruises, we have traveled to several locations in the United States and across seas to Switzerland, France, and Italy!

Favorite Disney Destination – Disney World! There is so much to do that each time
you visit, you seem to experience something new that is magical.
Favorite Disney Restaurant – Ohana! This restaurant offers a unique and out of the
ordinary menu. For breakfast and dinner, not only is the food great but the atmosphere is so themed… and breakfast includes a variety of characters!
Favorite Disney Park – Magic Kingdom. As much as I love all of the parks, this one is
extra special. Nothing compares to walking in and looking down Main Street to see the
castle at the end. I also believe the fireworks with the castle take this show over the top.
In addition, the amount or rides and the variety are great for the whole family.
Favorite Disney Attraction – Seven Dwarf Mine Train… a great combination or thrill and theming.
Favorite Disney Snack – Dole Whip. This is one of the most refreshing treat at the
parks when you are there on a hot day. I also enjoy the new flavors they have created to
give this a twist!
Favorite Disney Character – Chip and Dale. Who doesn’t love two cute little animals
always getting into trouble. The pair always seems to be on adventure.
Favorite Family Vacation Spot – Besides Disney, Tennessee! We
love the nature aspect of this destination and views you cannot get anywhere else. We
also like that there are still plenty of things you can do to keep busy when you would
like.
Favorite Adventure Experience – Washington. My brother was married here and when we went, it was amazing. There were so many different types of outdoor activities available, which varied a great deal based on which part of Washington you were in.
Favorite Relaxation Destination – Anywhere where you can be right on the water and wake up to the beautiful view and sounds…. whether this be in Northern Michigan in the summer or Florida in the summer.
Favorite Winter Destination – Anywhere in the south! I live in Michigan, where
he sun is minimal and the snow is plenty during these months. There is nothing better
than getting on a plane to get off in warm weather!
