All About Me

Hi! I’m Katie and I love all things Disney! I had my 4th birthday in Walt Disney World and continue to celebrate my birthday in the parks each July. How lucky am I to spend my birthday in the happiest place on Earth? As much as I love Florida, I am a New Englander at heart. I live in Enfield, Connecticut with my husband, Matt, my two kids, Blake and Scarlett, and our two dogs Susie and Leela. Fun Fact: My love of Slinky Dog came from owning my very own dachshund named Susie. She is 16 years old!

I have lived in Connecticut my whole life and work as a Special Education teacher for the past 14 years! As satisfying as teaching is, I decided to take my love of Disney to the next level and am so excited to help you plan your Disney trip of a lifetime.

I have experienced Disney as a young child, teenager, adult, and parent, and I have a wealth of knowledge to share! I am also a self-proclaimed Genie+ expert and love teaching others. I have also converted my husband into a true Disney Lover, and my kids are always excited for their next trip with new adventures.

Three years ago, we became DVC members and love staying at different resorts and experiencing each resort for all its unique details. As much as I love all of the newest rides and attractions, I thoroughly enjoy all the nostalgic rides I remember as a young child and make them part of my trip.

Favorite Disney Park – Magic Kingdom… there is nothing like walking down Main Street and seeing the Castle and smelling the iconic scents of this magical place.

Favorite Disney Attraction – I have a few! PeopleMover in the Magic Kingdom, Slinky Dog Dash in Hollywood Studios, Soarin’ in Epcot, and Expedition Everest in the Animal Kingdom.

Favorite Disney Restaurant – Via Napoli… a family favorite that we visit each trip!
