All About Me
Hi, I’m Amanda and I am obsessed with Disney! I have been going to Walt Disney World since I was little, and once I had my own kids, we went twice a year when they were younger. Now that they are older, my husband and I like to go without the kids and go much more frequently (sometimes once a month). The magic of Disney always brings a smile to my face. It is truly my happy place.
My husband Brian and I live in Virginia and have three kids; Callista, Aiden, and Scarlett. For the last 22 years, I have stayed home with my kids and homeschooled for about 12 of those. Since my kids are all mostly grown at this point, I decided it was time for me to find something to do with the new free time I found myself with. Helping people plan a perfect Disney vacation seemed like the most awesome thing to do!
I have experience with Disney Cruises and Walt Disney World — including Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser — and can also help with Disney’s Aulani Resort in Oahu, Disneyland, as well as Adventures by Disney. I love all the amazing things Disney has to offer and can help plan the most amazing trip, whether it is a family trip or just the grownups.
My family has participated in VIP tours, lots of different behind-the-scenes tours, and other amazing adventures. Going to Disney so often prompted me to find new and amazing adventures for each trip, whether it was reserving a new dining experience like Victoria and Albert’s or Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, or booking another adventure like the Africa Trek or Keys to the Kingdom tour.
I have stayed at most Walt Disney World Resorts, but nowadays most often frequent Disney’s Fort Wilderness and Disney’s Yacht Club Resort because I can stay at these two locations with my dogs… so if traveling with a pet is your thing I can help!

Favorite Disney Destination – Walt Disney World because it’s magical. Walking down Main Street and seeing the castle never gets old!

Favorite Disney Park – Magic Kingdom! I love the fireworks and the smell as you pass the confectionery.
Favorite Disney Attraction – Guardians of the Galaxy hands down!
Favorite Disney Parade – The Boo to You Halloween parade! The gravediggers and Oogie Boogie are so fun! The music and Halloween theme are my absolute favorite!
Favorite Disney Snack – Churro at Hollywood Studios!
Favorite Disney Character – This is a tough one. I love the aliens from Toy Story because they are just so cute! I also love Groot so much… mostly baby Groot because he’s so cute! Some of the classic characters, like Mary Poppins and Pooh, are also my favorites because they were staples in my childhood.
Favorite Adult Vacation Spot – Walt Disney World!
Favorite Family Vacation Spot – Surprise Surprise it’s Walt Disney World!
Favorite Adventure Experience – Wild Africa Trek at Animal Kingdom. This is an adventure my family took a few years ago and it was an amazing adventure… walking over crocodiles on a bridge is something we will never forget.
Favorite Relaxation Destination – Disney Cruises!
Favorite Winter Destination – Walt Disney World again! I love my winter Disney trips when I can soak up some Florida sun and enjoy pool days while it snows at home!
