YOU’RE INVITED · JULY 2–9, 2028 · THE DALMATIAN COAST OF CROATIA
Hosted by Grammy & Grampy Oliverez with Favorite Grampy Travels
Join us aboard a private luxury yacht as we celebrate five decades of marriage with the people who have shaped our lives. Incredible meals. Swims in the Adriatic. Laughter on the sun deck. And memories we’ll all treasure for the rest of our lives.
8 DAYS, 7 NIGHTS · ŠIBENIK TO ŠIBENIK · JUST 18 CABINS · $3,950 (€3,450) PER PERSON · $1,150 (€1,000) DEPOSIT HOLDS YOUR CABIN · FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED
Fifty years ago, Grammy and Grampy began building a life together. Along the way they collected friendships, family, laughter, and more memories than any photo album can hold.
They could celebrate with one evening in a rented hall. Speeches, cake, everyone home by ten.
Instead, they want to celebrate the way they love best.
Traveling together.
So they reserved a private yacht on the Adriatic, and they’re filling it with the people who matter.
We would be honored if you’d join us.
Wake up each morning in a charming Croatian harbor. Swim in crystal-clear water in a quiet cove. Eat dinner in a centuries-old town, then wander back to the yacht whenever you please. Maybe with gelato. Maybe with a nice glass of wine at sunset.
No packed docks. No racing for lounge chairs at dawn. No sprinting back to the ship by 5 p.m.
A few thousand strangers
Back on board by late afternoon
Saving deck chairs with a towel at 7 a.m.
Ports built for crowds
Only a few rushed hours in port
About 36 friends and family
We sleep in port. Stay out as late as you like.
Our own sun deck, jacuzzi, and sauna
Coves and villages big ships can’t reach
A whole afternoon, evening, and overnight in port
Our yacht stays overnight in port. The evening is yours.
Swimming straight off the yacht into the Adriatic Sea.
Walking ancient stone streets after dinner, no curfew in sight.
Gelato on the waterfront while sailboats drift by.
Dropping anchor in a hidden cove that cruise ships will never see.
Long lunches on the sun deck, telling the stories only this family tells.
An unforgettable sunset before tomorrow’s adventure begins.
Then doing it all again the next day.
Every Lastavica itinerary is custom-designed around our group. Here’s the shape of the week we’re planning (sample itinerary, final route confirmed with the captain and the weather):
Your Croatian adventure begins in Šibenik, a historic seaside city known for its magnificent stone architecture and UNESCO-listed treasures. Step aboard, settle into your cabin, and meet your fellow travelers over a welcome lunch as we sail into the sparkling Adriatic.
One of Dalmatia’s most photogenic coastal towns, set on a tiny peninsula surrounded by brilliant blue water. Primošten is famous for its native Babić red wine and extraordinary Bucavac vineyards, coaxed from red soil divided by intricate dry-stone walls. Wander the waterfront or climb the old town for sweeping sea views.
After a leisurely swim stop in a secluded Adriatic bay, arrive in one of Croatia’s oldest towns, founded by Greek settlers in 384 BC. Stone lanes open onto quiet squares and waterfront cafés. Just beyond lies the UNESCO-listed Stari Grad Plain, farmed within boundaries laid out more than 2,400 years ago.
Sail into one of the best-preserved medieval towns on the Adriatic, often called the legendary home of Marco Polo. Fortified walls, cobbled passageways, and sunset views across the water. Discover its traditional sword-dance heritage and sample island olive oil and native Pošip or Grk wine.
After a leisurely morning swim and lunch onboard, sail into a charming harbor town on Hvar’s quieter northern coast. Wander stone streets and a picturesque waterfront, then settle into the easy rhythm of island life. Vineyards, olive groves, and lavender traditions surround you. Linger over dinner under the stars.
Arrive in a lively seaside town on the island of Brač, home to the unmistakable Zlatni Rat. This ribbon of pale pebbles stretches into the turquoise Adriatic, its tip reshaped by winds and currents. Swim, stroll the shaded promenade, and admire one of Croatia’s most celebrated coastal views. Tonight: our special Captain’s Dinner onboard.
Cruise inland along the Krka River to a colorful marina town, gateway to one of Croatia’s most beautiful national parks. Our included excursion takes us into Krka National Park, where wooden pathways wind past rushing water, old mills, emerald pools, and the cascades of Skradinski Buk. One final evening together and a sunset toast.
One last leisurely breakfast as we return to Šibenik. Then come the hugs, the exchanged photos, and the promises to travel together again. Our camera rolls will be full of turquoise coves, ancient stone towns, beautiful meals, and moments we will never want to forget.
Nearly every day includes a swim stop in the open Adriatic, right off the yacht’s swim platform. Feeling brave? Jump in from the top deck!
Swim stops nearly every day. Snorkel gear, paddleboards, floats, and a water slide off the deck. A jetski is also available at an hourly rate.
Breakfast on deck, overlooking a different Croatian harbor every day.
Fresh meals prepared onboard by your personal chefs: 7 breakfasts, 6 lunches, and one special celebration dinner.
We stay overnight in town instead of rushing back to the ship. Explore, dine, wander, sleep on the water.
Jacuzzi. Sauna. Sun-deck gym. Water toys. WiFi (service may vary). And two flying dresses onboard for the ladies, for the kind of bow-of-the-yacht photos you frame.
You’ll travel with people connected through Favorite Grampy Travels and the Oliverez family. Strangers on day one, family by day three.
Your yacht is one of Lastavica Cruising’s two custom-built flagships: 160 feet (49 meters) of polished deck and warm wood, built in Croatia and run by the Stančić family, who have spent more than 50 years sharing this coastline with guests. A father-and-son captain team drives the ships they helped design.
There’s a lovely symmetry in that. Fifty years of the Stančić family on the Adriatic. Fifty years of Grammy and Grampy. One week where those two stories meet.
18 ensuite guest cabins, 130 to 187 sq ft (12 to 17 sq m), each with air conditioning, daily room refresh, safe, TV, and hairdryer · Crew of 8 to 10 caring for roughly 36 guests · Jacuzzi and sauna on the sun deck · Indoor and outdoor dining · Horizon bar · Swimming platform
Cabins are assigned first come, first served, in deposit order. The earlier you reserve, the more choices you have.
[PLACEHOLDER STORY – REPLACE WITH THE REAL ONE]
Grammy and Grampy Oliverez were high school sweethearts who met in study hall in 1976, when Grampy traded his pudding cup for the seat next to her. Fifty years, three kids, and eight grandkids later, they still hold hands in the grocery store and still argue about who navigates on road trips.
They have never loved anything the way they love a full table and a packed suitcase. This week is their thank-you to a lifetime of people who made the journey sweet.
Come be part of the next chapter.
